Macaranduba - Strength and Beauty.
Like the hardness of Ipe but not the look? Give a look to Macaranduba or Brazilian Redwood decking. It has a nice dark-reddish look, it is very durable and only slightly less dense than Ipe. It is available from Downes & Reader in Stoughton at 5/4 x 6 with multiple lengths available.

Ipe - Solid as a Rock.
It’s hard and durable. The well known exotic wood Ipe is an excellent decking material. It will last much longer than your standard mahogany deck. Come see the difference at our Downes & Reader retail section or make a quote request today. Three sizes are available; 1 x 4, 1 x 6, 5/4 x 6. For lengths and pricing availability, make a phone call at 1-800-788-5568 or e-mail us at info@downesandreader.com

Cumaru - Available from Mobile.
Newly arrived to our Mobile, Alabama warehouse from Peru and available through our Import/Export division, Cumaru provides another alternative to ipe. It is cheaper and looks similar, but generally runs lighter in color and is less dense. Cumaru is currently available in trailer quantities only. For size and lengths availability, call the Import division today at 1-866-452-8622 or email at imports@downesandreader.com
