Domestic or Exotic? We have something for you.
We carry most popular domestic and exotic hardwoods in the rough. Whether it is Poplar, Cherry, Hard Maple, Jatoba, Zebrawood, or Spanish Cedar; We have something for you. We also carry Cherry, Red Oak, Hard Maple, Poplar, and Birch in 13/16” S2S. Need softwood? We also carry Sugar Pine, Eastern White Pine, Doug Fir, and Red Cedar. Need shorts? We have Red Oak, Hard Maple, and Cherry 6’ lengths in 4/4” and 8/4”. Need Mahogany? We have Genuine South American Mahogany in FAS and Pattern. We also carry African Mahogany, Sapele, and Meranti as well.
Services
Need your lumber milled? For up to 125 BF, we will mill your order to the thickness of your choosing and rip 1 straight edge for $25. This can be done while you wait. If you need S4S, we can mill small orders up to 100 BF for $40. This will take a few hours to days depending on how many dimensions and thicknesses are needed for milling. Plywood
Check out our plywood racks, located in our retail store. We have multiple species of hardwood cabinet grade plywoods to choose from. We also carry marine and pre-finished plywood as well.
Dowels
We have birch dowels available in multiple thicknesses. Dowels are available in our Stoughton retail or at our online store for the same price. Free shipping is available for dowel purchases over $35.
Squares
Need some turning stock for pens, legs, pool cues, etc.? Check out our turning squares at our retail store. We also have the complete catalog at our online store at the same price. Free shipping over $35.
Edge Tape
We have edge tape available for our plywood in a 13/16” x 250’ roll. Our edge tape is a iron-on application and is available in our retail and online store at the same price. Free shipping over $35.
Hardwood Mouldings
Downes & Reader now carries a small selection of hardwood mouldings at our Stoughton retail location. Moulding profiles in stock are a base cap, chair rail, crown, and case.
